Linkwitz Riley Filter Crossover Issue
-
Merry Christmas to everyone!
Scriptnode Linkwitz Riley Filter doesn't make the crossover (band split) correctly. I used All pass to compensate the phase delay, but you can hear the phase issue while tweaking the "Low Split" knob.
Any ideas?

Any ideas or fixes please? I saw some examples in the forum but none of them is working properly.
Can we make a proper band split (without phase problem) with Hise? @Christoph-Hart
-
@Fortune IIRC Christoph said the Linwkitz Riley isn't ideal for modulating/tweaking. I've been using One-Pole for stuff like that, but you might have better luck with one of the other types.

Have you checked the one pole style splitter in Plugin Dostor? I tried all ways but all of the filters in Hise is giving frequency bump (and phase issue) on crossover points.
I guess the proper splitter can't be done in Hise for now :(
-
@Fortune Yeh I assume it'll be tricky getting a perfect crossover with the ability to modulate it. You might have to implement your own for this
-
Hey @Fortune @iamlamprey @Christoph-Hart any updates on this? I'm doing a project with crossover bands too and the phase issue with HISE filters makes it impossible to finish ;-)
-
@tomekslesicki I'm afraid that working crossover bands are not available in Hise yet.
Scriptnode Linkwitz Riley Filter has a phase issue and not working properly. -
Good to know, thank you!
