About installers...

Hi folks, silly question for most of you (but not for me, first timer here...)
I need to create an installer for an FX plugin on OSX, but something is not clear to me: apart from the vst/component files, what other files do I need to include in the installer, where are they placed on the HD and how can I include them? What is the easiest install creator software?
No samples are needed, only presets.Thank you for your support :)

- just your .vst, .vst3 or .component file
- they are usually placed in Library/Audio/Plugins/...plugin type..
- Easiest I've found is Whitebox Pacakager

@Lindon Thanks a lot!

@Lindon Is there a good tutorial for Whitebox Packages? Struggling to understand how to write to the "hidden" ~/Library/ folder as well as not simply overwrite everything in the path but rather add to it.
Can't find any resources online

@DanH I found that you can't write to the System Library and User Library at the same time. You have to install everything to the System library first, then use a post-script to move the data to the User Library. I posted my script in another thread somewhere.
