Oversample Node Bypass Question.

I know I can hook up a knob to bypass on most modules but I want to bypass an oversample module and there is no bypass on that.
Looking at the forum ,I should be able to do it via scripting but there is one issue I am uncertain about.How do I get the equivalent of ScriptReference of a module , say I have a dsp Network- split module and two chain modules inside of that , each containing 4 modules and I want to script the behaviour of one of them, namely the oversampling module in this case.
I am sure there is some kind of system for this but I just started using the nodes.
I imagine i need to designate in the script , dsp network -split -chain 1 -oversample 1 ? -

Can anyone explain to me how I can script a specific module i.e how do I make a reference to a specific module that is maybe inside other modules ?

Also, for some reason , when I bypass the 16x oversample on this setup it crashes Hise.

Seems to hold with the 2x oversample ? Might be the same bug as seen here.

@lalalandsynth rootChain is just the variable name because the example just takes the main node for reference…
Just call the variable what you like and give it the node you want as an argument of.get()
like this:const var oversampleModule = dsp.get("oversample16x");
As for the crashes, you'll have to wait for the V3. I'm 99.9% sure that no Scriptnode bug will be fixed in the current version…

Well, V3 will not appear out of nowhere, so there will of course be fixes before the version change. But you're right in the case that there is a big rewrite of the entire scriptnode codebase on another branch so it's unlikely that this will be addressed before the merge.
