Ipad ?

I am not a mac person but I want to buy an Ipad and try exporting to it.
What is involved ? In the sense , how do I get an app to the Ipad , do I need some special tools from Apple ?

You need an Apple Developer ID and to learn how to notarize the software for Apple. It's a pain, honestly. I have not built instruments for iPad yet, but part of it is similar to what you need to do to publish stuff for Macs. See this thread: https://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=531663

@tomekslesicki I see, do I also have to jump through hoops to deliver Mac vst or is that exempt from all this , was not clear in that post.

@lalalandsynth you must codesign all your plugins for Mac Catalina onwards (VST,AU, and wiht some caveats AAX)

You must codesign (at a differnt level) any standalone app or installer - and then you must also notorize these
