Aha I found the culprit. The ProjectTemplate.cpp has this line

<LINUX_MAKE targetFolder=\"Builds/LinuxMakefile\" linuxExtraPkgConfig=\"%LINUX_GUI_LIBS%\">\r\n"

But the StandaloneProjectTemplate.cpp has this

<LINUX_MAKE targetFolder=\"Builds/LinuxMakefile\">\r\n"

Rebuilding now to check if it solves the issue...

Didn't work :( seems like the wildcard isn't replaced in the standalone template. @Christoph-Hart help :D

It should compile on macOS, so chances are good that Linux behaves too - you might need to remove a few std::absf and friends again :)
