      @ustk are you tried to reduce the smoothing value ?

        @Yinxi The smoothing value of the matrix modulator is here to affect the applied value, the lastModValue is not affected

          @ustk What's your range for this slider?

          Its modulating right around the center which looks good but its not reaching outer limits which might hint at range values? That looks like a value/ normalization kinda thing happening no? Hard to tell not knowing your slider/mod value ranges but that's what it's looking like to me. pma node?

            @ustk Can you test the dampening effect by slowing down the rate a lot? See if the slider reaches further to the ends of the range?

              @Chazrox Not a range issue, the problem is the modValue reported to the slider's obj that is too radically smoothed

              I agree some dampening is necessary for nice visuals for higher velocities but here it's just too far from the reality even at low speed...

              @dannytaurus See when using slower/faster mod:

                @ustk this video says it all. wacky behavior lol

                Is your paint routine called by a timer function? Possibly faster time if so.

                  @Chazrox Nope, the slider handles its own obj with the values and the repaint is automatically called. Nothing on my side...

                      @ustk FWIW the LFO plotter does a similar thing. As the rate gets very fast. the plotter draws in a progressively smaller section in the centre.

                      Seems like the same issue - some kind of animation smoothing or damping going on.

                        @dannytaurus I've added a PR for the slider mod value -> https://github.com/christophhart/HISE/pull/858

                        Now it would be cool to have it modifiable live from the settings extra definitions but this I don't know how to do it...
