plugin exports on windows but does not open
-
Hi GuysI just finished my plugin and it exports + runs perfectly on macOS (both the standalone and VST). However, when I export the same project on my Windows laptop, it builds successfully but doesn’t open in any DAW or even as a standalone app. Anyone who might know the problem?

@Oriah-Beats Any errors in the HISE console when you open the project in Windows? Are you using the same version of HISE on both systems? Also, do you have the VST3 Support flag checked in the project settings?
There is also a useful application called pluginval that can help you determine potential issues with your plugin.

@HISEnberg I get an error when I turn the Use IPP on but no error when the IPP is off. Note I compiled Hise without IPP . And Yes I have the VST3 Support checked...let me check the plugin tester you just shared and see what might be the problem

@Oriah-Beats stick with the standalone, it's easier to debug than a plugin.
@Oriah-Beats said in plugin exports on windows but does not open:
I get an error when I turn the Use IPP on but no error when the IPP
Leave it unchecked unless you need it and have it installed

Could be references to components that no longer exist. I.e you have a reference to Button1 but deleted button 1.
Check in script view to see if any components are undefined
