        Any chance of creating these sliders in LAF?!

        Yes - that gradient on the blue arc of the first one might be a little tricky.

                @DanH If you rotate the canvas (g.rotate) it might, I haven't tried.

                If you're trying to simulate hardware I think the gradient should be stationary, unless the light source is moving.

                    @DanH You could try creating the knob and the gradient as part of your background, then just using LAF to draw the arc and indicator overtop of that. I actually did this in one project and it worked out quite well.
