      discovered that in the last commit there is no mono/poly Filter anymore in the global FX section ?

      i made a filter FX with it, so when opening in hise 2.0 = bug, crash, boom !

      the only way i found is opening it with old 1.6, erase all the filter FX section, saving, and after opening in 2.0

      works.

      BUT:

      is there a way to have a global audio filter FX or never anymore ?

      thanks.

      Excuse me i'm French.

        In the 2.0 there's only the Harmonic Filter Monofonic in the global section.

          Actually this is an oversight: I have coerced the Monophonic filter and the polyphonic filter so that the polyphonic filter will only render polyphonically if there is polyphonic modulation going on, otherwise it just processes the sum of all voices. This removed the requirement for a dedicated monophonic filter module.

          However, I am currently not allowing voice effects in Containers, but I have to loose that restriction, and allow poly filters without polyphonic modulation. Makes sense?

            @Christoph-Hart I think filters on the main fx chain, shouldn't be removed. Contrary, they should be improved. Although HISE's main goal is instruments, the filters should be used freely, in fx plugins too.

              +1 I could really use the filter for an FX plugin I'm working on right now.

                      @Christoph-Hart Very very quick! Thank you so much!!

                      I am seing

                          ADD_NAME_TO_TYPELIST(PolyFilterEffect);
                          ADD_NAME_TO_TYPELIST(HarmonicFilter);
                          ADD_NAME_TO_TYPELIST(StereoEffect);
                          ADD_NAME_TO_TYPELIST(PolyshapeFX);

                      So we will be able to use this effects not only on the top of the master fx chain, but also freely in anywhere?

                        AAAaaarrrgggggg !!!!

                        Sometimes I shout "oh genius, Christoph!" but here I hate you: D

                        You were too fast!

                        I replaced the filter by the shaper (it has a LPF and HPF) and made updates. and when compiling: New version with filter!
                        so take my old xml and redo my updates!

                        gasp! damned!

                        I'll go fishing for a mermaid with a harpoon, me;)

                        Excuse me i'm French.

                          When using CC modulators with the filter's parameters there is no GUI update as the CC is moved so it makes it difficult to know the exact value range that is being affected. Would it be possible to get value change to display on the filter's knobs or in the filter graph itself?

                            Never mind, I realised I can setup the values quite accurately using the modulation table

                              Possible to have a stereo harmonic filter for containers?
