made a simple delay with scriptnode but i cant get the polyphonic script fx to recieve a send from my sampler or container...what am i missing?

I was able to get a regular script node fx to work but not the polyphonic.

well, i got it to work, or i got audio to pass through.

but the delay sounds like shit.

is there anyway to create a delay that doesnt crackle when changing the delay time?
I read that the delay in the polyphonic script works but it does not for me.

@jeffd did you add a smooth node and place it in a fix container? Both those should help with artefacts.

lol...i did not. where with that go in the signal path?
after the delay and before the gain knob?

@jeffd The smooth node? Attach it to the delay time (set its min-max values to the same) and than attach that to your macro parameter. Wrap everything inside a fixBlock for better per sampling processing. There are examples on the forum or the docs I am sure.

That's the one, or the unscaled version depending on your use case (but this one should be fine for what you are doing).

                    hmmm..
the delay will not change with the knob now.
                    stays static

@jeffd Sorry I might have misled you with the smooth node, I prefer the unscaled version. Try this, play around with different smoothing times (or remove it altogether), try different fix block size (8, 16, 128) and see some of the differences. Personally I use a lot of faust's delays which you can explore on their github repo (if you have faust enabled in HISE, its pretty easy to import them).
