Solved Compiling - noob Question
-
Hey there, and i am sorry to post this rather VERY noob question. I get some fatal errors while compiling my first test-vst3, and cant get round - maybe you would be so kind and point me in the right direction.
I have compiled HISE, runs perfectly, but when it comes to compiling , i get this errors - are they "OK" as HISE does not give me a compile error afterwards ? And would you be so kind to help me with the steps afterwards to get my first vst up n running?(
THX SO MUCH

The errors are due to IPP. Give the forum a quick search and you should find a detailed solution.

@Ben-Catman Yeap, you have IPP enabled on your Hise Settings and you don't have it installed. Just disable it and the error will go away.
IPP is only useful if you have used Convolution Reverb (and only for Windows).

And this was the solution, IPP had to be unchecked. Thank you so much!!!

but if you are using stuff like convolution you will need IPP for the performance improvements...

Yes, i get that, but as noob, i need to do more research as on how to implement IPP

read the install documentation for HISE - it tells you how to install IPP - watch Dave Healeys videos - they show you how to do it.
