      Hey there!
I shared a knob filmstrip bundle a while ago on this forum and got a lot of great feedback response. I really like that so many people in this forum share the knowledge or graphic elements to learn and use this amazing software. I am right at the beginning of learning LAF with the amazing and free youtube videos from @d-healey. I am asking anyone to share what he/she has achieved using LAF to learn and read how it is done. I am having a hard time making my preset browser to look like i want and barely touched the surface of look and feel in HISE.

As a freelance artist i also understand that not everything can be shared for free so if anyone is a pro in LAF and could imagine working some of my designs out i am very open to pay for great snippets, presets or even for custom work.

i attached a recent GUI so you know what kind of styles i usually work with/looking to achieve with HISE in the future.

Yeah, this example should be totally doable with HISE LAF (excluding the blur and the background image).

In order to learn / use LAF functions, the best approach is to just register some functions to a LAF, assign it to a control and then print the obj parameter to the Console using

        Console.print(trace(obj));

This will give you every property you can manipulate. As soon as you start doing some serious work, I'll suggest you grab this helper functions here for Rectangle manipulation:

I noticed that getting the right areas is the one thing that most novice coders stumble upon but once you've understood those functions, it becomes pretty easy.

This is a UI that's been done entirely with LAF functions:

I'll leave out the part of the GUI that uses GLSL shaders so you don't fall into that rabbit hole :)

This UI is all LAF. Also check out Mndala, we built that with LAF and lotties.

@Straticah Snippets wouldn't show much, unless I made a LAF gallery or something. LAF is just a collection of functions that can be applied to controls. A lot the LAF in my project is on github - under the GNU GPL license.

@Straticah I've just finished the design for my first ever plugin made with HISE. Its fully vectorized and features a dark mode + some paint routine animations that are controlled via the knobs. The filter panel is also customized via LAF and the preset browser also has some customization to fit the theme.

I've learned that most of the UI can be achieved with LAF and HISE (except masks for a layer that scale @Christoph-Hart :) ) but it just takes some creativity to and tricks to get the result you want.

@oskarsh Thank you so much. I didn't find this drawFilterDragHandle function at @Christoph-Hart documentations. Am I something missing?

Can anybody @d-healey @Christoph-Hart list all the new updated LAF functions which is available in master branch?

Previously I used to use Global LAF. Now there is Local LAF. So little deep, kindly get me all the updated functions.

You can use global LAF or localLAF. I recommend using local LAF for objectsthat are not repeated often. Objects that are used again and again like a button or knob should use global LAF.

                                "drawTableHeaderColumn",
                                "drawFilterDragHandle",
                                "drawFilterBackground",

It has all of the components of the stock browser so my guess is it's LAF.
