Do button animations work the same as kontakt?
1 - on
2 - off
3 - hover on
4 - hover off
5 - button down on
6 - button down off

No, just on and off if you're using a filmstrip. You can create other states though if you make a custom button using a panel.

This is not entirely true, I added six state button support a few months ago using this scheme:

(I was tired of writing custom Panels just because I needed a hover image). Just set numStrips to 6 and load the image.
