      Why not put it on the synth group then? or do you need individual control?

        @d-healey Because in each group there are 3 samplers , and I need Individual volume control.
        I guess I could just not use a group and link the Adsrs between them ?
        That is the only reason I am using a group .

          Do you need to control the volume while sounds are playing?

              @lalalandsynth Then I think constant mod is your only option, I don't know a formula to convert from DB to intensity though.

                @d-healey Ok, I guess I will not use a group then .

                Question on voice amount.
                When I use a group - 3 samplers per group.
                The total group gets 256 voices.

                When I use the samplers individually i,e not in a group , each sampler gets 256 voices.
                What would you recommend for the voice amount for each sampler ?
                I am assuming that is a CPU issue and I need to economize ?
                Each sampler can only play 2 octaves , but polyphonic.

                Any thoughts on this ?

                  @lalalandsynth Hard to say, but yeah the lower the better in terms of cpu

                    Use this scriptnode-powered time variant modulator in each sampler for a simple real-time gain control (adjust the smoothing time as you like and setup the parameter range to be as logarithmic as you want to):

                    As for the performance question: the synth group is a bit more efficient because it handles the voices together, but you won't get too much CPU optimisations there as the bottleneck will most likely be something else.

                        @Christoph-Hart Should I set the Converter to Decibel to gain and use a decibel scaled slider or a 0-1 slider and Gain to Decibel ..... OR do I use the skew factor .
                        How exactly do i get a db response ?
