I appear to be able to add envelopes to the Global Modulators container but I don't think I can do anything with it...?

@Christoph-Hart Just noticed that it's still possible to add envelopes as Global modulators.

Would it be possible to add some kind of dedicated global or container envelopes that change a value over time as long as any voice is playing.

My scenario is this, I have a filter on a container, all I want is for the frequency to move from one value to another over a period of 100ms while a voice is playing. I could do this with a script so why not with a modulator?

Just got fooled again by global envelopes. They still show up as an option in the global modulator container.

@d-healey I'm building to do something very similar to this and can't figure out a good workaround. I'm trying to build a fully-fledged modulation system with 4 global lfos and 4 global envelopes, but it's seeming like none of the envelopes are possible. The 4 global envelopes could control the types of things you describe, just filter frequencies, pan values, etc. Has anyone come up with a good solution?

Sadly - you either need to write a script to do your modulating - or apply an envelope to each of your targets..there's still no global envelopes -for the reasons Christoph explained), and no "Global independent Envelope" as requested by Dave.
