Pitch Bend Amount Interface Control?
-
To invert the value click use table and flip the high and low points.

@SteveRiggs said in Pitch Bend Amount Interface Control?:
Ah! That worked. Thanks. The pitch wheel seems to be inverted though now on my midi controller. When I pitch it up, the pitch goes down and vice versa
Also, what would be the best mode and settings for the knob to achieve the 0 - 24 range?
Would the knobs animation have to be 24 frames too?
You may have the parameter inverted so just invert it again.
You don't need 24 frames, just set the parameter range to your prefernce. e.g.. -6 and 6 .You can't have more than -12 to +12
-
Awesome. Just added a button to toggle inverted. Works properly now. Cheers :)
I'm still slightly confused about the settings though, as when its set to +12.00st it's actually pitch bending 24 notes.
Trying to figure out how to have the knob animation so that I can make a read out on the interface that goes from 0 to 24.. and which mode and step size and frame amounts I would need. Confusing!
-
@SteveRiggs the modulator has a max of -12 to 12 so I've no idea how it's bending 24.
Knobs use the min and max values that you set
-
Yes it only goes +- 1 octave. You can test with a constant modulator

It is weird. Seems to be set in steps, not actual notes, so 0.50st is 1 note

Very strange. The one in the snippet is only 1 octave. I have mine on a sampler and it's definitely doing 2 octaves up and down on mine. Weird!! I'm still on HISE 1.6.0 at the minute. Maybe it was changed in one of the higher versions since?
-
@SteveRiggs Do you have anything else in your project other than a sampler and a pitch mod?

I have all versions and they all use -12 +12

This one is just a quick test project I'm using to work out a few things away from my main project so there is just a sampler, ADHSR Envelope, Pitch Wheel Modulator, and a Convolution Reverb.
I've got a feeling it's because this is all the way up...

@d-healey have you got a pitch wheel? Mine's currently broken
-
I'll do a quick video in a sec. It's definitely going up and down 2 octaves
-
Yeah I'm using the pitch bend on my Roland RA06
-
Just recorded a quick video to show you. That's definitely 24 notes up and down. I knew I wasn't going crazy
-
Yes I have a pitch bend wheel. And it appears there is a bug... with a constant modulator or a CC modulator the pitch change is correct but when using a pitch-wheel modulator it's doubled. @Christoph-Hart
-
I'm liking having the full 24 notes. Just unsure how it would work getting a readout on an animation / knob to be accurate only having step sizes only move in 0.01, 0.1, or 1.0.

As it's not going to match the parameters you'll need to experiment
