Exposing preset lists to DAWs

Anyone doing any work to expose your plugin preset lists to the host?

Or do you just rely on your plugin's own preset browser?

They all seem to use different systems:

• Logic uses an index-based AU Presets list
• Cubase, of course, honours the full VST3 spec
• Looks like Ableton Live doesn't do much with preset lists at all

Seems like the HSIE source deliberately opts out of exposing preset lists to the host, and sets the current preset index to -1 on every launch anyway.

@dannytaurus I didn't even know that was a thing! I just use the preset browser.

@David-Healey I really like the Logic [ and ] shortcuts for prev/next preset in the open plugin.

I've added those shortcut keys to my plugin, but they don't work quite as well.

The Logic [ / ] keys work when the plugin window is focussed. The plugin [ / ] shortcuts only work when the actual plugin UI is focussed. Small but tangible difference.
