STK is there???

@Christoph-Hart compiled OK on Mac! A simple question. How to properly add i.e. STK Guitar or any other modeled instrument?
I added stk:plucked but need to play a sinewave or something with it on order to produce a sound. I -100dbied the sinewave to hear the modeled pluck made by Perry :) -
I‘ll be adding adding the rest of the stk in small chunks, if you have particular modules in mind, I‘ll push them in front of the list.
-
@Christoph-Hart Wow. That's an honor.
-ModalBar
-Brass
-Flute
-ClarinetGuitar and plucked you already wrapped :)
Also a quick tip on how to properly add them
You are building a beast you know that? -
I can't find a way to remove a connexion on mac, is there a key combination + triple 360 heelflip mouse click + touching my nose with a toe thing to do?
-
Right click on the modulator / source knob and remove the connection. There you can also edit the connections property (range, converters, etc).
-
was that simple...

I replaced sqrtf and his friends with working alternatives and managed to get the HISE node branch to compile, but I'm getting this when linking
/tmp/cc6Ehq3U.ltrans0.ltrans.o: In function `scriptnode::doc::Resolver::clone(hise::MarkdownParser*) const': <artificial>:(.text+0x62f40): undefined reference to `scriptnode::doc::Base::scriptnodeWildcard' /tmp/cc6Ehq3U.ltrans1.ltrans.o: In function `scriptnode::doc::ItemGenerator::createRootItem(hise::MarkdownDataBase&)': <artificial>:(.text+0x4f027): undefined reference to `scriptnode::doc::Base::scriptnodeWildcard' /tmp/cc6Ehq3U.ltrans1.ltrans.o: In function `hise::AutogeneratedDocHelpers::registerContentProcessor(hise::MarkdownContentProcessor*)': <artificial>:(.text+0x54508): undefined reference to `scriptnode::doc::Base::scriptnodeWildcard' collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status

If you create a pull request I‘ll merge it.
I‘ll fix the link error when I get back.
-
@Christoph-Hart My solution is to replace all instances of sqrtf with sqrt and tanhf with tanh etc. Is it safe to create a pull with that? I don't want to mess it up for another OS.
-
Yeah I wouldn‘t do anything different ;)

The DSP network replaces all callbacks that process audio data so they are just useful on the script processor modules that actually process audio data:
- script FX
- his new funky brother polyphonic script FX
- script time variant modulator
- script envelope modulator.
The orange background of your screenshot indicates that you dropped it in a MIDI processor. Just do the same thing in one of the other modules.
I'll be creating example patches for the things that were requested in the last weeks (eg. Lindon's step LFO with adjustable loop start, variable EQ and some basic introduction patches).
Until then, here's a polyphonic mid side decoder that is modulated by the velocity - because, well, you can :)

I directly compiled scriptnode branch but this snippet doesn't work. Is there anything that I am missing? @hisefilo @d-healey @

Alright, I've merged your pull request, also fixed another compile issue on macOS / Linux.

Nope, works here. Are you sure you compiled the latest state?
-
@Fortune maybe it's there and working. Have you opened a DSP panel to see it?
-
Yeah I compiled the latest scriptnode branch again. And when I use this snippets, I can't see.
-
@Fortune
take a look at the left bar in the Scripting Workspace.
You'll find a new Show/Hide ScriptNode icon..bst,d
-
@Dominik-Mayer Thanks, yeah I see now, looks great!
-
STK will be a great add on. Congrats @Christoph-Hart ;)
-
@Christoph-Hart I know is on your list, but is there a way for us to start wrapping STK modules by ourselves? I remember you said once nodething is ready, wrapping STK will be trivial (for a genius like you I guess)

@Christoph-Hart QA reporting :) MacOS xCode fails to compile last commit
