Progression of Hise :chart_increasing:
My sleeping time :chart_decreasing:

@Christoph-Hart Now that's what I'm talking about, the best development tool ever been made ;)
I guess this is a mixture of transient shaper and filter modulation :)
-
ace this is so exciting! eta?
-
So the release is on teaser 3, or 3, and then release?
But I would say it's up to you @Christoph-Hart... It's your Hise man... -
I applaud this activity - and like every one else here I'm excited to see it come to fruition, but I'm going to be a boring stick-in-the-mud here and say : I'd love this to happen, but... after:
- The requests we have outstanding for functionality in the existing product - like midi out, loop points in modulator tables
- a much more stable and consistent sample load process
-
Well, MIDI out came up literally three days ago, so I'll add this after I finished this feature.
Also, with this system you can make your LFO with custom loop points yourself. Classic case of "Teach a man how to fish" :)
One of the main reasons why I am adding this is to remove the pressure from the inbuilt modules to catch every possible use case: There will be ready made modules for 90% of the use cases, but if you need something special like you've requested, you can get your hands dirty and patch it yourself. Be aware that this system also includes a C++ code generator that will spit out a C++ class mirroring your patch with close to hand-written performance, so in the end you won't have any performance overhead.
And what's the problem with the sample load process?
-
@Christoph-Hart sample load, round-robin set up - Dave and I and other seem to have problems... theres plenty of discussion here I think.

Yes there is definite buggyness but I've been able to workaround all issues so far.

Which branch should I pull to test this out?
-
the branch is called
scriptnode
, but there is nothing to test at this point (not sure if it even compiles, lol).I need to finish the C++ code generator and make the API stable (so that the generator doesn't produce deprecated code after two weeks) but then a beta version will be available on the master branch (since it's a new feature and leaves pretty much else untouched it can be added to the "stable" master branch).

@Christoph-Hart can't wait :) you rock man!!!!!!
