The Audio Market Over the Next 10 Years

According to these sources, the market for audio DSP is projected to double over the next decade. Obviously AI is a big reason behind this but interestingly immersive technologies and voice assistants take a big share of the market as well (as does DSP).
For anyone who’s already invested years into this field, or for those considering getting into the game, I hope this can add a little enthusiasm and hope!

@HISEnberg this is pure gold. Thanks for sharing.
Music Production segment held a dominant market position, capturing more than a 37% share of the AI audio processing software market. This prominence is driven by the digital transformation in the music industry, where AI plays a pivotal role in streamlining production processes, enhancing sound quality, and enabling creative experimentation.

This is mostly in automotive, industrial, and consumer electronics. It's a much smaller amount for professional audio. And the professional audio in the report is referring to hardware, speaker systems, large venues sound systems, etc. Doesn't really apply to many people here.
The AI one is a little more relevant but AI stuff is volatile. An AI service business is fairly easy to copy because we all have access to the same cloud providers and AI models. It's also not that applicable to most of us developing audio plugins.
