RE: Questions about Profesionnal Virtual Drums for metal with Hiseposted in General Questions
@Lindon OK I see, you are right, I have to keep things easy for now.
One licensing process I love is the the soothe 2.
I don't know how to reproduce. It's pretty simple. There two choices possible :
- User can pay full license directly for ever.
Or - User can rent-to-own where payments contribute to the final price. You pay monthly until the total is reached.
The idea is to make the Plug-in affordable. As a web developer I already have some servers and databases. So I don't really know what to do first.
Maybe I will try hise subscriptions and see. - User can pay full license directly for ever.

@griffinboy thanks for your precious details. Normally I will not allow to pitch samples.
This Plug-in will come with an already mixed drumkit.
The main idea is to make a easy production weapon.
One drumkit only.
So I hope it should be OK. -

What does that mean?
I have build a single kick sample midi virtual instrument to test it on high BPM, and sometimes, I feel little slowdown, it's discrete but enough to be a problem for a professional plugin.
Maybe it's just a feeling, My computer is a professional one with enough power to run many plugins in realtime, so I don't know what to think or how to fix

RE: Questions about Profesionnal Virtual Drums for metal with Hiseposted in General Questions
@David-Healey sorry, I mean 260–280 BPM blast beats or extreme double bass drumming. Kind of Morbid Angel, Krisiun, Nile, Behemoth, Cryptopsy, Origin, Napalm Death, Nasum, Pig Destroyer, Brutal Truth, Meshuggah, Gojira.... metal in genral... the plugin must be able to stay stable.
Is it possible to use 96000hz samples for the studio quality ?

@David-Healey BPM stands for Beats Per Minute. It measures a song's tempo by counting the number of beats in one minute.
@David-Healey said in Questions about Profesionnal Virtual Drums for metal with Hise:
You can make installers. You can manage licenses. And HISE has a built in sample installer.
Is there a way to customise Hise "pop-up" for better GUI design, UX is important, and sometimes I can see mistake on Hise small steps view.
@David-Healey said in Questions about Profesionnal Virtual Drums for metal with Hise:
Absolutely
Great !
I know you make many helpful videos, and I would like to thank you for that, also ask if you works sometimes on plugins projects.
I need to build an MVP for this virtual drums plugin, this is a minimum functionality version to test the market.I just need some helps to manage licenses.
I don't know how to do it the best way.
ILok or distant server connection or local token or both ?I know web development, but I'm beginner in the plugin world.
I'm French sorry for my ugly English !Please let me know

Questions about Profesionnal Virtual Drums for metal with Hiseposted in General Questions
Hi there,
I need to ask if Hise is good enough to build an extreme fast samples needed for extreme metal virtual drums.I'm about to make a professional virtual midi drums plugin for producer.
Sometimes metal need a complex drums patterns so I looking for stability in extreme BPM.
I need to make a AU, AAX and VST3 versions and I need to know if it's possible to create some installer to manage licences, samples, etc.
I'm new to Hise, I did some test on bass fx plugin and I'm really impressed.
I just need to know if I can use Hise for professional development and production ?
Please let me know
