@myhomestudio Yes it looks like you did. Nice work. You will need someone like @d-healey to take a look at this. That one is beyond me.

      @Lindon

      You’re on your own

Does this mean hise will not be supported on Catalina for the foreseeable future?

If yes, how long do you expect this to be the case @Christoph-Hart?

    • RE: Mono versions of FX Plugins?

@lalalandsynth said in Mono versions of FX Plugins?:

@orange said in Mono versions of FX Plugins?:

maybe HISE can compile a stereo plugin with only one channel and create a seperate plugin with stereo version. Just simulating like @dustbro manually did. So all of the versions will be double (mono & stereo) is it possible?

Has this been resolved , I am assuming I will have to make mono versions of my fx plugins for compatibility ?

If you look in Preferences there should be a box you can tick to enable mono compatibility.

    • LUFS meter

I’m looking to create a lufs meter plugin. I’ve found some open source code for one on github and I would like to integrate that code into hise and then build the plugin GUI with hise.

      Here is the code:

GitHub - klangfreund/LUFSMeter: An implementation of the loudness measurement algorithm ITU-R BS.1770

An implementation of the loudness measurement algorithm ITU-R BS.1770 - klangfreund/LUFSMeter

      GitHub (github.com)

Any ideas on how to do this? Or any ideas on a better/easier way to make a lufs meter in hise?

      Thanks.

    • RE: My experimental sales approach...

I'm considering adding a one time pop up panel to my plugin that comes up after two weeks with a link to my website and a simple message like "Come check out the latest Crystal Audio Products!"

    • RE: Invert polarity of sampler

@dustbro @lalalandsynth I'm having trouble locating Simple Gain in the api. I don't see it when I search for "Simple Gain" and I didn't notice it when I scrolled through the full list. Is there a special place to find the modules in the api browser?

I think I'll add this to the SimpleGain module

Has this been added to the SimpleGain module? I didn't see it when I had a look.

    • RE: Transient marking an audio file

@Lindon Thanks for the link and the tip. I'll check it out. Did you have success when you tried?
What does "its less trivial than you might think" mean? Easier, harder than expected?

    • RE: Transient marking an audio file

@d-healey That makes sense. I would like to do it with a script so it happens in the fx plugin. How do you script this interaction?

I assume it looks something like:

      Add gain module
Use script to analyze for a gain change of n dBs over time m ms

I'm just not sure how to write this out in c++. Any suggestions?
