How to add Portamento

Does anyone have a real Portamento that does the job properly? I've been looking for months

I'm looking for a portamento effect like in Kontakt, for the Balkan and Oriental styles.

Even when I tested the glide, it doesn't sound right. I've looked everywhere on the forum and tried scripted things for months without success.

Can you give me a break down of how it should work from a user's perspective?

Press 1 key, what should happen?
Press 2 keys at the same time, what happens?
Hold 1 key and press another, what happens?
etc.
