How can I do to mute some keys (Let's say B1, C#4, F#4) and time limit the instrument sounding, to create a demo version for a product?

What are you trying to demo? Would it be better to supply walk through videos?

@hisefilo You can use engine.getUptime to work out how long the instrument has been active and you can use an if statement in the on note callback to limit which note will sound.

@tod-slaughter I mean demo as a limited functionality version for an instrument. not fully functional for people to try it before buying

@hisefilo imo. a lot of people hate demo products because the demo limitations can be really annoying in a lot of cases. A well implemented set of videos can have the opposite effect in that people can't wait to buy. But this can vary from product to product.

@hisefilo Christoph offers a serial key system for HISE, maybe it also has a demo mode (I have no idea)

Nope, no demo functionality with the serial key system for the reason Tod mentioned plus the increased chance of piracy for software that can be unlocked by removing the demo check.

@christoph-hart thank Christoph. I don't know about conversion rates for demo or not-demo products. The only piece of data I have is conversion rates for upgradable products can be upto 10%
