Solved Filter Display Bug?
-
It seems the latest develop commit has broken the connection between the filter module and the FilterDisplay floating tile

@ulrik @Christoph-Hart I had to go back to this commit to get the filter display floating tiles to work again
-
@ulrik I'm on a more recent commit and haven't noticed anything broken...
-
@DanH which commit are you on?
-
@ulrik 4th Jan
-
@DanH thank you, I'll test that!
-
5th Jan, works here.
-
5th Jan, not working here. Linux.
What OS are you guys using?
-
@d-healey OSX
EDIT - I take it back, that snippet isn't working. It works with the Filter in the mastr FX however so possible a sine gen issue or something like that

I've checked it again.
Sorry I thought the Hise shortcut on the desktop belonged to the recent commit, but it was linked to an old commit (April 2, 2023). So the Hise version I checked the snippet was an old version.
The snippet doesn't work in the recent commit.

I just ran into this issue myself. Using the latest Development branch.
Not updating Filterdisplay.
-
yep confirmed here too.
-
@Christoph-Hart this issue was still when I last compiled Hise develop branch 3 days ago, is it fixed now in the latest develop?
-
@Christoph-Hart And is still not working on latest develop commit from today https://github.com/christophhart/HISE/commit/eb50498ad3d9b6ff1d3c8bd4c954d037b7e0f60b

Anyone know f this is fixed yet, as I cant jump to the latest release without it.
-
@Christoph-Hart a friendly bump
-
Was the Jan 5 commit definitely the culprit? The filter display tile still works with scriptnode filters and curve EQs, so hopefully that narrows it down.
