@d-healey 🙂 yes. Don't really know if name is right. But i recreated both instruments purely on synthesis. Resonances, harmonics, releases, hits, noises. Not a single sample involved. How does it sounds?

They sound good - although I'm not familiar with the real instruments. Now tell me how you did it 🙂

Body sounds goods, but little bit flatl you need to add layer including mechanic sounds and Hammer.

@d-healey Basically there's 4 waveform generators. 2 for main body sound (sine) and 2 for attack (Saw) with minor detuning. And a 5th waveform generator for release with a very short decay. Also a synth group in FM mode for tines pitched 5 octaves and 10st up!

Also experimenting on FM for main "bark" sound, that's not the way I want yet! Rhodes real EPs seems to increase bark sound on repeated notes.... so Im trying to figure out how to add velocities for one note to open filters based on that velocity summation

Try the new shaper module for a gentle overdrive that sounds like bark. Use the tanh shaper with a subtle gain and cut the high frequencies before overdriving.

And technically it‘s not physical modeling because your not creating a virtual object and simulate its behaviour but more like „sound modeling“, so be prepared for other smart asses moaning about this...

I suggest saturator on master fx (around % 20 -30) to give a nice warmth to the sound.
Also you can find a Fender Rhodes speaker IR and use it on a convolution reverb to give more realiatic tone.
Also you can use a modulated phase effect on master fx too.

@orange IR is a great idea! trying to get the clean sound first, the I'll go for reverb
