AU creation on windows is it possible
-
So i was wondering if it is possible to make a mac au instrument while compiling on windows and if so do i just need the au SDK ??? I know plug n script can do it on windows so I figured that it can probably be done with Hise too. If anybody knows chime in.

@whereami518 nope. You need a mac to make macOS plugins - AU, VST, VST3, AAX

AFAIK Plug'n'Script just wraps you script code into a self-contained and precompiled binary which allows you to "cross-compile" AU on Windows, but HISE actually compiles stuff using the compilers available to the system which prevents cross-compilation.
This is a deliberate choice so you have more control and the ability to modify the build settings.

@Christoph-Hart ok thanks wasn't sure i have a m1 but it needs to get fixed dont ever factory reset an m1 its a nightmare it unmounted my hard drive, also can you use hise on the m1 macs last time i checked you couldn't but all my compiled plugins did work on the m1 through rosetta

@whereami518 You can use HISE on an M1, it runs with Rosetta. You can use it to compile M1 native plugins though.
