HISE image directory not found?
-
@d-healey just 1 now
-
@occultsamples And that's definitely the one you built from and the one you have set as the HISE path in project preferences?
-
@d-healey yes i deleted the old ones when i rebuild hise from source code
-
@occultsamples Can you zip your project file (without samples) and it to me?
-
-
@occultsamples
Could you zip it? I can't open that type of rar.Ignore me, I was using the wrong command. -
-
Exports fine here. At what point in the build process do you see the error? Do you have a screenshot? Have you extracted the SDKs in the Tools/SDK folder?
-
@d-healey after selecting export format, yes SDKs are extracted
-
@d-healey if you could send/link me your export that be great for now
-

Actually I didn't export it, I just tried to see if I could generate the error.
If know you said before that it happens with both old and new projects, but now that you've built HISE from source, what happens if you make a new empty project, save the preset, and try to export.
@Christoph-Hart Do you have any ideas about this one?
-
@d-healey Yes it exported when made new empty project
-
@occultsamples That's interesting. Well I'm not sure why it's not working for your main project. It's working on both of the systems I've tested on. Do you have another system you can test on?
-
There are two reasons why it would throw this error:
- It can't find the files with the images from HISE that it needs to embed (the default filmstrip knobs etc). If you have set the HISE path, this shouldn't be the case
- It can't create the directory in your Binaries folder where it copies these images. Might be a file permission problem.
