Expansion Preset Browser Column

@Christoph-Hart I think it would make more sense if the 'Factory' presets were shown in the expansions column as well as the available expansions (with an option to name 'factory' whatever you wanted).

I find it a bit counterintuitive that expansions occupy the left side and that you have to deselect an expansion to get back to Factory. In my mind Factory should be at the top of this list and all expansions listed below.

Why not just make a factory expansion and not bother with the regular "factory" content?

@d-healey For backwards compatability firstly, and going forward this strikes me as the most ideal solution, but yes your method works for a new instrument.

Yes, good idea, I can make it a property of the FloatingTile, so you can decide for yourself how it should be named (and if it's empty, it won't be shown).

@Christoph-Hart Alternative (or additional idea?) could be to have a button inside the browser (or something we can script) that makes the expansion column appear.

By the way when reopening a plugin in a DAW which has an expansion preset saved the 'factory' folders appear in the browser rather than the expansions'. Not sure if that's a bug or an issue my end! (develop)

sorry for reviving this old thread @Christoph-Hart but was this ever implemented? FACTORY being a category in the preset browser expansion column? I'm not able to find any other information on it on the forum.
