I haven't change anything except updating to new text editor commits (I mean, since the introduction of the new text editor)

@ustk No it's super laggy for me too - I went back to Master...

I have 4k+ lines of code - I saw @Christoph-Hart mention it was slow with more than 1k.

But it's jumpy as well as laggy. Resizing work spaces is also laggy.

I went back to Master...

BTW you can disable the new editor in the develop branch, you don't have to use the master branch just to have the old editor.

@d-healey @ustk It's definitely not as smooth as Master with a small project (100 lines or so), but it's useable for sure.

Resizing windows still jumpy however...

@DanH Yeah you're right, resizing is very jumpy too... But no need to go back to master, just before the new text editor is enough to get those issues.

@ustk Thanks for the video. Yes I experience a similar level of lag with line breaks disabled - although not quite as laggy as your video shows. For me it is most noticable when typing text.

I've also seen that the Code Bookmarks

//! Comment with an exclamation mark

Don't appear anymore in the context menu

@ustk Can you try again? I think I've fixed the lag and now it should be as responsive as the old editor irregardless of the line break state.
