Hise on Phones?
-
Since I work 9-5, and I can’t bring my MacBook at work field, is there a way to have Hise on our phones? it will be really helpful when I’m eating or we’re pausing on not doing anything, just to have more time to work on it. It’s very difficult to come back home and have the concentration and strength to code and create stuff in there. Any thoughts?

Y'all laughing now but I actually made a version of HISE that runs on the iPad (and stuff like ADD_TO_DESKTOP is still in the codebase because of that). Then I realised that I made the software with the worst UX on the planet and hid under a blanket for the next days. The popup keyboard that fully covered the script editor so you had to guess what the actual script looked like was the worst part I think...
So if I take this experience and multiply it with the inverse scaling factor of the smaller phone screen, I would say the chances of this happening are rather slim :)
If you have some idle time in the "pauses between work" there's plenty of stuff you can do to improve your HISE skillz. I remember myself crawling through the JUCE API whenever I was waiting for a train or something else a few years back, so reading up some HISE docs during the day might give you some inspiration and knowledge for your nightly HISE sessions on a suitable device...
