Apple clang error:Error Reading
-
Im currently on
Macos - 10.15
Xcode - 10
Hise - latest versionTrying to build on Mac for the 1st time and I keep getting this error, any ideas?
look all over the web couldn't find anything that worked.
-
@BWSounds Which commit are you building?
-
@d-healey the latest, I downloaded it yesterday
-
@BWSounds I would assume it's buggy since Christoph is doing a lot of work at the moment. Try the commit from 4 days ago that says "fixed macOS Compilation" - although I suspect it might be buggy too.
I posted a commit that works on the 10th of Feb, if you find my post you'll find a working commit.
-
@d-healey thank you sir! i'll check it out
-
Im after clean install MacOS, i installed also Xcode 10 but i have apple clang errors. Any solution?
-
I already installed IPP from 2018 and Xcode 10.3 and still without success :( Please, help.
-
@arminh Could you provide a full screenshot of xcode to see the error in the main window?
-
@arminh get the Hise folder out of Downloads and try again.
-
@hisefilo i tried compile in other locations but it's still the same error
-
@arminh The same error as in Error reading from your Downloads folder?
-
@d-healey nope. If i move whole hise folder to other folder error shows me correct path
error: error reading '/Users/arminhupka/Documents/HISE-develop/projects/standalone/JuceLibraryCode/include_hi_components.cpp' 1 error generated.
-
@arminh said in Apple clang error:Error Reading:
@d-healey nope. If i move whole hise folder to other folder error shows me correct path
That's good, rules out the downloads folder :)
-
@d-healey i changed chmods for all files and folders but it didn't help :/
-
Ok, i moved whole hise to my portable ssd and i can compile it! But why i can't do this on system drive? Any ideas? Today i format my Mac and ealier i was able to do this and now i cant :/
-
Ok, i format my MBP one more time but still i have this issue. I can't build on system disk but i can build on usb stick ... any tips?
-
You’re on the latest hide commit? If so good back a few commits. I believe that’s what I had to do.
-
-
OH yeah, i remember.. put the commit in your application folder.. thats what I did and it worked.
-
I moved hise to external disk, compile and move back to system disk and everything work :)
