Fl Studio Warning! Whats That Mean?
-
Hello Everyone
Just Trying To Demo My Plugin In Some Of Major DAW's Out There.
And Now Come Up With This In Fl Studio!
Anyone Has A Solution?
-
@Natanr First, I don't know FL Studio myself...
But plugin developers seem to hate this DAW, and I won't bother if my plugin is not compatible...
Ok, I don't help much, or maybe I am? -
@orange Abi Do You have Any Ideas?
-
Did you change the sampler buffer size?
-
@d-healey David, It's A FX Plugin And I Don't Have Any Samplers In The Backend, There Is Only On Sine Wave Generator.
Also Generated A Simple Gain FX, With Only One Gain Knob, Same Message Pop's Up -
Are you using the latest scriptnode branch?
-
-
It‘s pretty self explanatory: 1156 is a shitty buffer size, use another...
-
@Christoph-Hart Christoph
How Can I Change The Buffer Size? -
In the audio settings of FL studio.
-
@Christoph-Hart FL Studio Buffer Size Is Set To 256 :/
But If That Is A Problem, What About Orange Stuff's
They Don't Show The Errors :/ -
I‘ve added this error message a few months ago.
-
@Christoph-Hart Just Tested The Plugin In FL Studio Windows Version.
Error Not Showing Up!
And It Uses Asio For All Which Is Set To 256 -
@orange Abi, Do You Use The Latest Scriptnode, And If For Your Plugins?
I Tested The One Called "Heater" Which Doesn't Show This Message -
I haven't used the latest spriptnode version in Heater (it was built 4 months ago).
But I built a plugin today with 05.01.2019 date Scriptnode, it works ok here (with Generic ASIO driver).
Are you sure that the buffer length is not set to 1156 in ASIO4ALL mode? Go to the Buffer Lenght section in Options menu and try to change it manually. Or try to change the driver like your sound card or generic ASIO driver?
By the way, Abi is not my name :D

@orange Ha Ha Thanks Man
Will Take A Look At What You Mentioned -
Here Is The AUDIO Setting In FL Studio!
Any Idea?
-
Enable "Align Tick Lengths"
However it might also be a bug in the DAW detection because FL Studio is pretty new on macOS...
-
@ustk Hey, sorry all, I'm new here... but, it's pretty hard to just put a hard no next to one of the most popular and oldest DAWs out there. I mean, FL Studio, in and of itself, is a framework of sorts. I spent many years with it, and, a number of other people have as well. If we expect HISE Engine based samplers to gain popularity they've gotta work with Logic, FL, Ableton, Reason, Cubase, StudioOne (I hear).
-
@Christoph-Hart This is true, but, as an avid FL on Mac user since it was released they've done really good work this past year with stability. Admittedly all serious work was still done on my Windows 10 PC but with the last two updates I've been able to really push the envelope so to speak. Stability, though not full proof as on Windows, is still not at 90% yet. But closer.
