Can you export LFO as an fx plugin?

I want to export the LFO module along with controls for it as an FX plugin. When I do this and install the AU and VST in their respective folders and open Logic it does not read the plugin. Is this possible to do?

@TNTHM I haven’t tried just an LFO plugin on its own so I can’t say for sure, but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work as an fx plugin.
I’ve had similar problems getting Logic to see the AU component files sometimes. It doesn’t always pick them up first time. Try this and see if it works...

I’ve also noticed that if you make folders inside the components folder and put them in there then it doesn’t always pick them up. Try just putting them in the main components folder.

@SteveRiggs @TNTHM - but what is the LFO doing? Its a modulator -, so what (in HISE ) is it set up to modulate?

@SteveRiggs thank you for the helpful troubleshooting link. I will try these methods if I have the problem again.
@Lindon I am hoping that the LFO can be used as an effect on an incoming signal. I would like to have it in my effects chain for track A, where it would read the audio coming from track A and affect that audio.

@TNTHM I don't think that's possible since it's purpose is an internal modulator for HISE. You'd need to run the audio through something in HISE and modulate that. Doesn't Logic have its own general purpose LFO plugin?

@TNTHM you can modulate almost any parameter within the HISE environment. But you can’t use a exported HISE FX plugin to modulate parameters of a DAW as far as I know.So if you’re trying to do a simple volume chopper for example you can always modulate the gain parameter of a Gain module in HISE. Same goes for Pan or whatever.
