Christoph, would you consider to implement ability for the MIDIPlayer to also send and store other data from a midi file , like Tempo information and CC data?
I can see a use for it, specially when "record" is implemented

Sure, CC data can be definitely added, but I am afraid that using the tempo information will cause more harm than it will good (I stated the reason in another thread, also there might be multiple MIDI files running at once causing tempo mayhem).

HISE is not supposed to be used for any DAW kind of project, so the MIDI file playback is really just there for playing loops within a context (which is the DAW tempo).

CC data, that's great, thank you!
Yes I guess tempo data will screw things up if running several at the same time :)
The way I would like to use it is just for demoing purpose, as I have it now in my "accordion" samplelib plug" is that I have several typical "Accordion tunes" for the user to chose from and it will play the tunes inside the plugin, just to demo the library, and several of the tunes have tempo changes so it's difficult to edit the midi files to make the fermatas, accelerandos etc, to work in a constant tempo.

@ulrik Why not give the MIDI file to the user to open in their DAW?

@d-healey Yes that's an idea, but not as elegant as my idea :)

I would suggest that this is the worst possible way that you could possibly deliver demos, the entire point to delivering a demo is to promote use/sales, record them and put them on your website and you tube etc, demos in app are very 1980s Casio keyboard, and nobody ever listened to those outside the shop.

@Win-Conway Maybe you're right, but if this project will be finished, and I'm satisfied with it and would like it to sell, I will of course promote it via my site and youtube as well :)
Because I'm so new to this stuff, sampling, scripting and all, I'm so happy to get things working and maybe I'll overdo stuff because I have so much fun with Hise, I don't know

@Christoph-Hart is it yet possible for the MidiPlayer to read Midi Controller data from loaded files, and is there a way to access it inside Hise?
