Audiowaveform creates paths for all channels of the audio.
I often prefer to display a single channel, or summed representation.

Has anyone found good ways to do this?
Perhaps this should be a feature request. I imagine dealing with this in c++ would be ideal.

@griffinboy There are look and feel functions available which give you the thumbnail path, it might be possible to manipulate it to provide just a single channel, not sure.

That was my thought, but then I realized that it already adapts based on the number of channels. So it may be unlikely that I can manipulate it unless it's organised in a certain way. I'll see what I can do!

@griffinboy you could throw it into a panel and bootleg mask it by adjusting the panel size. Bootleg? idk. But it works. Screenshot 2025-03-21 at 11.33.43 AM.png

Right, but what happens when you drag a mono file into that? Try it
