Harmonic filter != VLC
-
Here's something weird. I'm happily working away in HISE with music playing via VLC in the background and then I add a harmonic filter to my project and my music goes poof! I remove the filter and the music is back.
But wait, there's more...
I add the filter a second time, this time I select to add it before another effect and my music is still there. At least until I change the filter band setting to something other than 1.
Can anyone recreate this? Might be something to do with JACK.

I wonder if it has anything to do with this:

Ah I think I forgot to remove this line:
If(dave.isPlayingHisTunes()) vlcPlayer.mute();
JK, but this definitely enters the top 10 of weird bugs.

@d-healey same thing here but with my microwave oven. When I add a low pass filter on Hise, microwave oven suddenly stops cooking my popcorn. :P

I'm hitting this problem again. If I add the harmonic filter (monophonic) all sound goes off. No sound comes out of HISE or VLC or Skype or any other audio playing software I might have open. The problem only occurs with the monophonic version and only if the number of bands > 1. This is unfortunate because it means I can't use the harmonic filter with a container at all.

@d-healey hmm, I think I told you no work today right? :-)

Since when does HISE count as work :p
