      @jay Yes it works.
      Just Turn on the compressor (with button) and try to set low treshold value. VU meter works...
      But you need to use a calibrated VU meter. I mean it should show right value. VU meter image strip in this example, doesn't show right amount. You can do it with Knobman. There are lots of cool vu meter image strip examples out there.

      Just keep searching, keep tweaking and keep learning...

      Cheers ;)

          @orange Sorry to bring you back in time but I was wondering if you could help me understand how to put 4 of these in one script. Im new here and new to coding. I tried to figure it out on my own but no luck. Thanks!

            @Chazrox These days it's usually better to use the peak meter floating tile.

                @d-healey how would I attach a VU meter filmstrip to this? Im also cycling through the indexes but I cant get the meter to show any signal flow. Screenshot 2025-01-29 at 4.42.49 AM.png

                  @Chazrox Peak meter floating tile is the current way. But if you need a classic filmstrip look:

                  (In the snippet, the imagestrip file name is VU_Meter.png and it has 100 frames, you can modify the script according to yours)

                    @Chazrox You need to set the channels, it's an array so for stereo you'd set it to [0,1] You can add a filmstrip using look and feel. If it was me I'd probably draw the main image on a panel and just draw the needle with look and feel.

                      @d-healey Thanks that helped with understanding that. Is there a more comprehensive documentation on HISE anywhere? I'd love to read it. The manual now doesnt help me understand the application of anything.

                          There's the tutorial repo (some of the older examples might not run as expected without modification) https://github.com/christophhart/hise_tutorial

                          There's also the snippet browser within HISE.

                          There's lots of snippets on the forum.

                          And there's my YouTube channel.
