VU METER
-
How to implement a VU Meter, is there a way to choose an option to do the vu meter like when you choose to create a button or something.
thanks in advance!!!!!
-
@jay You'd have to design it yourself. You could use an animation strip or do it with vectors and a panel.
-
@d-healey I have the animation strip but don't know how to implement it, sorry but I'm a newby into this
-
@jay You have to assign it to a control, I'm not sure which one, someone else will know :)
-
@jay Here it is :) This is a compressor gain reduction vertical knob, you can use a filmstrip image instead of a knob; for a VU meter. Just take a look at the code, you will understand and learn quickly. ;)
Cheers ;)

@orange thanks buddy
-
@orange This is exactly what I was looking for, thanks a lot
-
@jay I'm happy that you like it ;) :)
-
@orange when I put the VuMeter graphic and refresh, it comes back to the vertical knob
-
@jay You need to set the style to the "knob" from "vertical".
Check this example...

Cheers ;)
-
@orange Can you Try to make work in this scenario?
Thanks in advance.

@jay Yes it works.
Just Turn on the compressor (with button) and try to set low treshold value. VU meter works...
But you need to use a calibrated VU meter. I mean it should show right value. VU meter image strip in this example, doesn't show right amount. You can do it with Knobman. There are lots of cool vu meter image strip examples out there.Just keep searching, keep tweaking and keep learning...
Cheers ;)

@orange thanks, I'll appreciate it
