Send Effect / CPU Problem
-
Hello,
I've noticed that adding send effects occupies a lot of cpu processing even without and Containers or effects added to it.
Is this normal?

@RastaChess Do you have build a Debug version? It stays at 0% here even with the lowest buffer size my system can handle.
-
@Christoph-Hart You mean of HISE? Yes I'm running a develop branch debug + perfetto.
-
@Christoph-Hart ok, I built a release version and now it says 0%. Thank you.
I noticed it affects all processor across the board. My plugin was hitting 30% cpu (driving me crazy) and now it is at 3%.
What is the reason for this?
Should I never use the debug version? -
@RastaChess Only use a debug version for debugging ;) It isn't optimised which is why it's better for debugging, because you can see the running code in a debugger, and also why it uses more CPU.
