Is there any videos or tutorials on this subject? That is, how to build a fx plugin, not a virtual instrument

What's the difference between "Export as FX Plugin" and "Export as MIDI Plugin"?

@Sampletekk audio effects take in audio and output audio. Midi effects take in midi and output midi.

@Sampletekk To make an effect plugin you should learn scriptnode. I learn by trial and error and also by searching the forum.

You could make effect plugins without scriptnode, but pretty basic.
