For my latest release I needed Rhapsody to be able to install plugins (vst3/au) in addition to expansions. I think this might be useful to some of you who don't want to create your own installers.

At the moment it supports installing the plugin files/bundles, a png image (that shows up in Rhapsody), and .dat files. However I'm thinking it could be useful for it to be able to install other files too in locations of your choosing (assuming they are writeable for the user).

I want to restrict the file types so people don't abuse it to install arbitrary exe files and stuff like that on the user's system. So my question is what file types should it allow? Currently I have .vst3, .au, .dat, .png, .wav, .mid, .ch
