I'd like to share a little demo I'm working on with my HISE based woodwind library.

I like the transitions! And the character of the sound. Don't like "water-like" clarinets)
-
@d-healey It's hard to believe that it's a virtual instrument :)
-
@d-healey Great stuff, Congrats! I wonder how it sound the whole symphonic orchestra :) I'll keep following...
-
@d-healey awesome!!!! Everything looks so natural. The only thing I note is long glissando is too perfect. No human can do so I guess. Maybe some small random pitch (cents) on it avoiding being a perfect curve
Also I think not linear will work too. Pitch changes faster just before hitting the destination note. Don't know it it makes sense

This library is now available - https://librewave.com/sofia-woodwinds/

@d-healey wow!!!! What a production!!!! I love it. Congrats David. Love the story behind it. And the webpage. The only thing I see is audio streaming kind of slow. Couldn't play anything on the first try. Needed to wait until fills some buffer

Thanks :)
What speed is your connection? Mine's about 200mb down so I don't notice any lag. I'll see if I can get them to auto-buffer or something when the page is first opened, that might help.

Ah that explains it. Yeah soundcloud has super fast servers (probably using Amazon S3 data centres) my stuff is self hosted on shared hosting so can never be as fast unfortunately. I'll see about using something like soundcloud instead.

Congrats to the release David, it certainly was quite some effort to get there :)
-
@christoph-hart Thanks! It was all worth it, I'm already planning new updates though so I think there is more to be done :)

This post is deleted! -
My first update for this library has taken almost six months! New samples, new GUI, new functionality, many small improvements. It's not available yet but I wanted to share the updated GUI with you guys.
-
@d-healey wow!!!! Love the new UI
-
@d-healey Congratulations bro, looks lovely ;) Vectoral? Do you use Photoshop?
-
@orange I didn't design it but I believe the knobs/sliders were created with knobman. The articulation list (not including knobs/buttons) is a panel and paint routine inside a viewport.
-
@d-healey Gorgeous stuff...
-
That is beautiful, well done!! :)

@d-healey love the design
