How to create global FX?
-
Hello,
I am sure this is a simple process but I am new to HISE. How do I add global fx to my project. I want to have ADSR etc for the entire sound. I can set it for the waveform generator and the sinewave generator but I want to add fx controls globally. Not sure if this makes sense. -
@plugmakr Click on the + icon that I have marked.

@DabDab Is there a way to have global ADSR? I looked at the documentation and it mentions that older versions could not do this but as of 3.5 it can. The option is grayed out. It could be that I don't understand what I'm doing. It's a long learning road for me.

@DabDab This is out of date. It's now possible to use global envelopes.

but it's not working so well unfortunately, see here:

@ulrik at least in this example when using Silent Synths with Polyphonic Hardcoded FX
-
It's important to make note of the module hierarchy.
Your global container needs to be above every other module you wish to modulate.
-
Is it possible to move a container up or down in the hierarchy? I have a container for my Sine Wave generator and one for my Waveform generator. Adding a global modulator container after the fact does not work. I'd like to move the global modulator to the top but I can't find a way to accomplish this.

@plugmakr Nevermind..I used my reading skills.
