      I'm trying to utilize the componets that will take filmstrips... how would you go about controlling a buttons 2 states in the script...

      const midi_indicator_btn = Content.getComponent("midi_indicator_btn");
      inline function midi_indicator_btn_func()
      {
      midi_indicator_btn.value == 1;
      }

      midi_indicator_btn_func();

      I know I'm close and 'save in preset' is dissabled... thanks in advance...

        @Felix10870 The API browser contains a list of all the functions you can use with buttons (and other controls). The one you want is setValue()

              @d-healey I have been glued to them... so much information to absorb... I watching your deep dive on the sampler now... the last sampler I knew really well was the AKAI S1000s1000.jpg

                  @Felix10870 Probably not the way to do it, using Content.get component outside of on init is less efficient than other methods. Get a reference to the component in on init and use that reference in the callback instead.
