Tools: Convert all samples to Monolith + Samplemap
-
Does anyone know exactly what this does? Nothing in the docs....
-
@danh It converts all of your project's samples to monoliths and updates the associated sample maps to reference the monoliths.
-
@d-healey and it works ok?
-
@danh am about to find out....
-
@d-healey well I guess not :face_with_tears_of_joy:

@danh This is the tool I use
-
@d-healey oh right, how do I open that menu?
-
@danh Right click in the sample mapping editor
-
@d-healey nice, thanks.... Not sure if you saw my other thread but my end points keep moving, especially after encoding monoliths. Having run that function all my samplemaps need tweaking (again!!). Can't be normal behaviour can it?!

I see all threads, and I answer them if I have something to contribute ;)
-
@d-healey of course! Is there like a 'detect digital silence and move sample end point (and start point modulation end point) to that place' function going on?!
It seems to move to the end point of the audio.... @Christoph-Hart

No idea. Why does it matter?
-
@d-healey because if you use an AudioWaveform tile it will show the entire file, not just the selection from the sample map, and then it becomes impossible to line up UI elements on top of it.
-
@danh I see, I've never used that control so haven't come across this problem.
