Where is Scriptnode Synthesizer Docs and help
-
@dabdab to get started with scriptnode, the best is to dig the forum - there are a bunch of threads about doing this or that - and to experiment yourself by dragging nodes around.
There are a lot of possibilities, including building your own OSCs, effects or modulators.
If you built the new_layout/last develop branch, you just have to add a Scriptnode Synth or a ScriptFx module - it will open the scriptnode workspace - and create a DSP network with the popup.

@matt_sf Thanks buddy. But how to dig into the forum? Every time when I am searching it comes with weird white box . See the pic.
Can you point some threads links?I am in Master branch. New Layout branch not very stable to me.
-
@dabdab I'm afraid it's rather pointless trying scriptnode in master as a lot has changed into develop / new layout and what you make in master has only a small chance of working in NL etc.
-
@dabdab take a look here : Scripnode 101.
And yes, as @DanH said, you'd be better diggin into scriptnode with the most recent version of HISE because there were a lot of changes since the master branch. -
@matt_sf Thanks for doing this - are you able to turn off comments / replies on that thread so it doesn't get jumbled up with people asking questions?
-
@danh OK. I will try to compile New HISE Layout branch one more time.
-
@dabdab Use develop branch not new_layout
-
@matt_sf Thank you :)
-
-
@dabdab You need the latest version of develop branch, this is now the active branch.
-
@d-healey OK... (y) Thank you
-
@danh IDK if it's possible but I'd rather leave the others the possibility to post, as - even if I love the system and noodling around with it - I might be wrong and/or incomplete sometimes, so it's better if our HISE masters can correct what I (or other people) say :)
