@d-healey I could be wrong but I imagine he wants the gain envelope to react per note.

@d-healey I'm pretty sure there is no way to get per note modulation going in the global modulator container.

@crd Yep, after playing around with it I think you're are correct.

@d-healey I think there is a years old feature request for polyphonic LFO's which I will resurrect. Polyphonic LFO's seems to be the only thing Kontakt still has over Hise.

@crd We have polyphonic LFOs in scriptnode. https://forum.hise.audio/topic/4759/scriptnode-lfo-shape

In fact it was a problem I was having because I wanted each note to be in sync so I needed it to be mono (assuming I understand the terms correctly in this context).

@d-healey I could be wrong but I think that is monophonic with different re-trigger behaviors. Similar to the legato button on stock Hise LFO module. Polyphonic LFOs would be an individual lfo/envelope created per note.

@DanH said in Global ADSR for multi-sampler engine:

@UrsBollhalder If you're happy to use a LFO Custom Table as an envelope you can route it to a simple gain modulator. Its not an AHDSR but it might get the job done and is reasonably intuitive to use

I thought about doing this as well... Just disable the loop etc.
But then there is the release problem, which is basically a mixture of delaying the noteOff and fading out the gain... 🤯

@crd By per note you mean pressed key, right? That would indeed be nice...

@UrsBollhalder yeah, sorry! per key is more accurate. Here is an old thread that mentions poly lfos: https://forum.hise.audio/topic/979/polyphonic-lfos

@UrsBollhalder I'm not sure scriptnode can help with this type of thing. I think it has to do with how voices are created and managed in Hise. Obviously @Christoph-Hart or someone who knows about more about C++/Juce would be able to tell us more.
