        [new layout]

My component list looks a bit like a graveyard! 💀⚰️

        Am I missing something?

@UrsBollhalder can you reproduce that in a shareable snippet?

@UrsBollhalder I am also missing my beloved alt-key-skip on macOS... same as in most text editors... @Christoph-Hart Could we possibly have that functionality back, please??!? 🤷‍♂️🙏🧙‍♂️🦸🏻

It is really handy to skip from word/expr to the next without touching the trackpad again or shift-clicking through every single letter!

@UrsBollhalder sure, I just wasn't sure how the real modifiers are on macOS (since I'm using a key remapper to be consistent with Windows). I've fixed it now, if there are any other discrepancies to standard text editor shortcuts, let me know.

@ustk HISE is supposed to save and reload the display configuration at shutdown / start. Take a look in the editorData.json file in the HISE app data directory. The container called "PersonaContainer" should have Folded set to 1.

Yep, the Folded property does switch in the JSON according to its state when closing Hise, but Hise always unfolds the interface designer at start.
All other tile folded states are remembered though.

@ustk I get this too. I think it's because when a blank HISE project is opened it automatically opens the main interface script in the interface designer.

Ah yes, good catch, if you click on a workspace icon (and HISE does that automatically for you with the main interface when you load a new patch), it ensures that the workspace is visible.

@ustk I still think that the answer to most of your problems is to be able to detach the workspace floating tile to an external window so you can use it on your second screen, otherwise you will always be fighting against the workspace system.

@LinuxVst Yes, I'm working on that file at the moment, so I couldn't push the fix, you'll have to wait a few more minutes...

Yeah, I don't need any main workspace that deals things for me, just custom ones...

The new rr group display is a bit tight when there are a lot of groups and the script editor is open - or you have a narrower screen. The inline xfade display is excellent!

Maybe this helps for the macOS side of things. Can't compile on new layout branch...
