      Hi everyone! Will my plugins made with Hise be compatible with the M1 chip (running natively without the need of Rosetta2)? I exported them on regular intel i7 and can't to try it on M1 (because I don't have it now :) )

          @arminh This is not correct.

          On Big Sur you can build a universal binary that will run natively on both platforms.

                @d-healey my vst3 plugins work fine on M1, compiled on Mojave + Xcode 10.3

                Haven't been able to test AU but I assume they won't

                  @DanH are they native though or running through Rosetta?

                          @DanH Then it's running under Rosetta which is not what the OP wants.

                          I just checked the Apple site, you need to use XCode 12 to build a universal binary, here's the link - https://developer.apple.com/documentation/apple-silicon/porting-your-macos-apps-to-apple-silicon

                            @d-healey except that xcode 12 does not allow to compile hise. the error list is huge

                              @yall Which version of HISE? Christoph fixed it in the develop branch a few days ago.

                                @d-healey i have not tried with the devlopper branch. I had tried xcode 12 with the last scirptnode branch. so i will try with the devlopper branch. however, under windows still not possible to display a plugin in the daw. I tried again this morning with the hise exporter, or even the autogenerate file. compilation without problem but nothing in the daw. I will wait for the final version I think

                                  @yall said in Plugins made with Hise and M1 Apple:

                                  still not possible to display a plugin in the daw.
